Paradigm Launches App to Help Health Care Students Learn Drug and Medical Terms

ST. PAUL, Minn. (October 18, 2017) – Paradigm Education Solutions, a leading provider of health careers courseware in higher education, launched the Paradigm Health Careers Drugs & Terms app to help health care students study drug classes, generic versus brand names of drugs, body systems and other medical terms anytime, anywhere.

According to the Pew Research Center, 92 percent of 18- to 29-year-olds own a smartphone. With mobile technology entrenched in young adults’ daily lives, students want study tools they can access on demand. Paradigm Health Careers Drugs & Terms app fulfills that desire by giving today’s students a convenient tool for learning and remembering more than 3,000 drugs and medical terms.

The Paradigm Health Careers Drugs & Terms app can be used with a wide range of health careers courseware to accelerate and enhance student learning. Using the app, students can:

  • Search the terms database by drug class or body system.
  • Use flash cards to review Schedule II drugs and common medical terminology.
  • Create flash cards to practice identifying drugs and medical terms.
  • Access audio functionality to master pronunciation of medical terminology.

The app is now available for purchase from iTunes and Google Play for $5.95. For more information, contact Selena Hicks at Selena.Hicks@ParadigmEducation.com or (574) 540-9154.
